12. Screenprinting: color and emphasis

title: unknown
artist: Jacob Horwood
size: unknown
history: unknown

I chose this piece because it shows lots of color and little emphasis within it. I thought the mixture of colors were an interesting way to use them together as the yellow and whites are close to the greens and blues since you normally dont really ever see that color combination.

10. Screenprinting:Shape

title: unknown
artist: Windy Hill Happenings
size: unknown
history: unknown

This is a series of prints combined print transformed into a quilt like work. As you can see there are lots of different shapes within shapes, such as the shape that makes up the leafs have little circles in them. I chose this piece because I thought it was cool how the artist used her prints to make a bigger piece of art work.

11. Screenprinting:Pattern/Repetition

title: unknown
artist: unknown
size: unknown
history: unknown

The reason I chose this piece was because it has a lot of repetition and pattern in it, with the shapes of the squares. I also like how the color went from dark to light and how the pieces start to disappear off into space.

9. Collagraph: color

title: Night Flight
artist: Emily Gray Koehler
image size: 11.50" x 7.50"
paper size: 14.00" x 10.00"
history: unknown

This is a original woodcut with a collagraph. I really like how the sky looks with the moon and the different colors that define it, as the black is a nice touch that shows how the night sky looks when looking up at things under it.

7. Drypoint: Pattern/ Repetion

title:Hatching Pattern
artist: Jasper Johns

This piece was done in 1976, by aquatint and dry point. The lines and color give it a pattern, its difference in shaping of grouping of lines in different the three different colors gives it an interesting appeal.

6. Drypoint:line

artist: known as Mr. Hardy
size: unknown
history unknown.

I chose this picture because not only is it beautiful and seems like it holds a story as you look into its eyes, it is also a good example of line in Dry point, as you can see the shading in the horse used by lines that help define the horses shape.
